Every class we’ll pick songs out of the book and work on them as a group. You will learn how to play in different styles, and how to read music notation as mapped out in the book. “The Daily Ukulele” is a well-known songbook in the ukulele world, and this class will help you add to your playing repertoire. You will need to purchase either the hardcopy or Kindle version of the book, as well as your own ukulele. No class meeting 11/4, 11/11, 11/25. PHOTOGRAPHY, DIGITAL – AN INTRODUCTION Do you own a digital camera and want to learn what those dials and buttons do? This class is for those who own a point & shoot, mirrorless, or entry DSLR camera. The course covers some of the controls of the camera to allow the photographer to be a little more creative with their pictures. Students will learn how to organize their pictures on their computer and share their photos with others. Basic computer skills are highly recommended. Bring a USB flash drive to save your work. This class will help you organize and write your life experiences through guided writing techniques and supportive feedback. Students will leave with meaningful written memories ready to share.
