We have both! Both courses are intended for health care professionals who need CPR Certification or CPR renewal. All instructors are American Heart Certified. Register early as classes are limited to 9 students. Beginners 6-hour course 8 am – 2 pm $80 Rm A-11 Renewal 4-hour course 8 am – 12 pm $65 Rm A-11 CPR Classes are held on Fridays Apr 21 May 5 & 19 June 2 &16 Registration is available in-person only in the Nursing Department, Rm A-8 Please Note: You must bring your active CPR Certification card and present it at registration and to the instructor on the day of class. BE PREPARED TO SAVE A LIFE! LEARN CPR! HEALTH CAREERS TABE TESTING Passing the Health Careers TABE Test is required to be considered for many of our Health Career Programs. TABE Testing is offered every week, alternating Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings. Registration is available online only TABE Testing Information ■ Testing Fee $15.00 (per test date) ■ Wed. 9:00 am to 12:00 pm ■ Thurs 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm ■ Room D3 ■ Students must bring a valid photo I.D Note: No admittance after the testing has started. No transfers are allowed. No refunds for no shows. TABE RETAKES ■ Students must wait 2 weeks to re-register and pay $15.00 for a retake of the failed portions of the TABE test ■ The student may take the test a total of 3 times ■ If a student has failed on the 3rd attempt, they will be referred to the Academic Department for refresher classes and will have to wait 2 months before they can register to take the TABE test again Please see our website at www.clovisadulteducation.com for updates on the next available TABE Test dates. Registration Information for Agency Students and Financial Aid Individuals sponsored by an outside agency such as CalWORKs, California Department of Rehabilitation, Workforce Connection (WIOA), or Veterans Affairs, must provide proof of eligibility or a contract with the name and information of the approved student. This document must state the approval of the named program and the intent to pay for program fees, services, and books. Students that have received a DWC job displacement approval form from Workers’ Compensation should contact their claims adjuster if there are questions regarding the DWC form. Documented authorization must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to program payment due date. Exceeding this deadline may result in postponing program start date to the next cohort. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify for the Pell Grant. Applications should be submitted through the Federal Student Aid website at fafsa.ed.gov.
