You will learn signs from Itsy Bitsy Spider, Old MacDonald, Going on a Bear Hunt and There Was an Old Lady Numbers Edition to take home and teach your child. For each song and book, we will be doing an activity. You will also receive materials to take home to use with your child. The instructor earned her BA and MA in Early Childhood Education. She will share the knowledge of why teaching young children sign language is an important addition to their learning development. Please bring a $20 material fee the first day of class. W 6:00-8:00pm 6/7-6/21 3 Classes CAE D13 Owens $49 ASL BASIC FIRST AID AND MEDICAL TERMS In this class, you will learn to sign important basic first aid/medical terms such as help, appointment, doctor, nurse, hurt, ambulance, pain, bone, emotions, and fall – just to name a few. Additionally, in this class, you will also learn many signs that have to do with How you feel, Symptoms, and Names of illnesses. Some of the signs taught are chicken pox, flu, measles, cold, ache, sore throat, upset stomach, thermometer, and nausea to name a few. This class is perfect for anyone in the medical or teaching profession, as well as anyone who wants to be prepared if a situation arises and they need to help someone.
