CNAs assist with direct health care needs for patients, under the supervision of a nurse. Whether this is your dream job or a step in the right direction, we’d love to help you get started! Note: Students must be able to stand for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 50 lbs. Upon completion of course objectives, eligible students will take the state competency exam for state certification. Please Note: Evening NA Schedule (Part-time) Morning NA Schedule (Full-Time) ■ Resident care skills and vital signs ■ Nutrition and emergency procedures ■ Part-Time: 13-week program (220 hours) ■ Full-Time: 6-week program (220 hours) ■ Program cost $1,000 ■ Morning and Evening classes available for part time program ■ Additional costs approx. $500-$700 for ▶ Books, uniforms, supplies, etc. ▶ CAE health requirements ▶ September 2025 ■ Must be 18 years or older ■ Pass the TABE Placement Tests in Reading and Math ■ Have a current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card ■ Have a valid government issued photo I.D. (California ID/License or passport) ■ Have a Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayers Identification Number (ITIN) ■ Submit an NA Application to the Nursing Department ■ Clinical sites are held at various locations in Clovis, Fresno, and other surrounding counties ■ Students with felony or misdemeanor convictions may have issues with placements in clinicals or state certifications.
