All CTE classes require a valid, government issued I.D., a high school diploma from an accredited institution or a HSE® (high school equivalency). Additionally, you must pass the CTE Business entrance exam at a 7.0 grade level to meet enrollment requirements. It's easy to register for Career Technical Education classes. Just follow the guidelines below: 1. Attend one of our Informational Zoom meetings. This initial meeting will give you an overview of the CTE department and provide individual program information. This meeting will also provide information and dates for the entrance exam, orientation and pre-registration. You can find a live link and dates on our website at clovisadulteducation.com or call 559.327.2853 for more information. 2. Individuals sponsored by an outside agency, such as the CalWORKs, California Department of Rehabilitation, Workforce Connection (WIOA), or Veterans Affairs, must provide proof of eligibility or a contract with the name and information of the approved student. This documentation must state the approval of the named program and the intent to pay for program fees, services and books. Students that have received a DWC job displacement approval form from Workers’ Compensation should contact their claims adjuster if there are questions regarding the DWC form. Documented authorization must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to program payment due date. Exceeding this deadline may result in postponing start date. Additional questions regarding Clovis Adult Education programs may be directed to the Agency office at 559.327.2803. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.
