REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED CLASSES: ■ Fill out a registration form online at under online registration. ■ You will receive a phone call to schedule a placement testing date. If you no show for your scheduled test, you will not be able to register until the next term. ■ You must be 18 years of age. ■ Bring an official high school transcript from the previous high school you attended. ■ Bring a government issued photo I.D. or passport. ADULT BASIC EDUCATION ABE classes provide instruction in reading, writing, and math to prepare students for the high school diploma program, GED, CTE business and nursing education classes. Upon completing the course you may receive a letter grade or a Pass/Fail. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA CLASSES Students may take an individualized program combining traditional instruction, self-directed studies, and online classes. As of January 2016, the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) is no longer a requirement for graduation. ON-LINE CURRICULUM Clovis Adult Education offers online instruction utilizing the Edgenuity curriculum. Edgenuity utilizes standards- based core curriculum and elective courses. Edgeunity offers multimedia presentations on a variety of different topics that will offer our students different access points to information supporting the concept of “Improving Lives Through Education.” Students must qualify to take online courses and will have access to meet with a teacher when needed.
