A deck of 52 cards is dealt to four players and then partners bid on how many tricks they can take and determine the trump suit. When the hand is played, one player puts their cards face up on the table for both his partner and the opponents to see. This series of classes will cover the basics of contract bridge, including modern bidding methods and strategies to play hands. This class is for those who have never played and for those who haven't played for years and want to learn the latest techniques. Students will learn to recognize and how to grow medicinal herbs. We will discuss basic drip irrigation and making and using permanent concrete forms for raised beds.
