Students must provide their own sewing machine, know how to operate and troubleshoot it and provide their own supplies. The class projects will focus on the following sewing techniques; gathering, pleats, waist casing, drawstring casing and working with grommets. The first night of class is a lecture, you do not need to bring your machine, we will discuss the projects and supplies needed. No class meeting 3/27, 4/24. From those interested in learning to quilt to those wanting to continue their block and piecing techniques all skill levels are welcome. First-time quilters will be given a simple quilt project and returning students will work on various skill level projects.While basic quilting experience is preferred, it is not required; however, students must know how to operate and troubleshoot their own sewing machines.
