In this introductory class we will go over some of the basics and help you get to know Cricut Design Space. We will make some simple projects to get you on your way to using and enjoying your Cricut. Students will bring their own machine and laptop with them. Note students must have Cricut Design space downloaded onto their computers PRIOR to class starting and have gone through the launch process with their machine. The first night will cover terms, supplies and getting started in Design Space. No class meeting on 4/15. T 5:30-8:30pm 4/8-4/29 3 Classes CAE E1 Smith $69 CROCHET Would you like to learn how to Crochet? Do you need help reading patterns? This class is for all skill levels and students will progress at their own pace. Our Instructor has been crocheting for more than 40 years. New students will receive an email with a supply list before the class begins. No class meeting 4/14, 4/21. T 6:00-8:00pm 1/14-2/25 7 Classes CAE E7 Clutter $109 M 6:00-8:00pm 3/10-4/28 6 Classes CAE E7 Clutter $99 SEWING Are you interested in sewing but not sure where to start? Does the thought of using a sewing machine seem daunting? This class is great for the absolute beginner! We will cover all the basics you need to get started from setting up your machine to learning basic sewing techniques. Students will complete 2 projects learning the following techniques: Straight, French and encased seams, turning/pivoting corners, box corners, hemming, creating handles, simple pocket and basic zipper. Students will need to provide their own sewing machine and materials. The first night of class is discussion only, you will not need to bring your machine as we will go over all the materials needed. This class fills up fast so register now! W 5:30-9:00pm 1/22-2/26 6 Classes CAE E1 Smith $169 SEWING CONTINUED This is a continuation from the Sewing class, some sewing experience is required! Students must provide their own sewing machine, know how to operate and troubleshoot it and provide their own supplies. The class projects will focus on the following sewing techniques; gathering, pleats, waist casing, drawstring casing and working with grommets. The first night of class is a lecture, you do not need to bring your machine, we will discuss the projects and supplies needed. No class meeting 4/16. W 5:30-8:30pm 3/12-4/30 7 Classes CAE E1 Smith $169 QUILTING This ongoing class is for quilters of various skill levels. From those interested in learning to quilt to those wanting to continue their block and piecing techniques all skill levels are welcome. First-time quilters will be given a simple quilt project and returning students will work on various skill level projects.While basic quilting experience is preferred, it is not required; however, students must know how to operate and troubleshoot their own sewing machines. First time students, the first class is a lecture, you do not need to bring your machine, we will discuss the project and supplies needed.
