While the instructor is on hand for questions this is not an instructional class. Use the time to finish up projects that are stacking up. Offered from 12-6 month programs, the idea is to make one or two blocks each month. At the end of the time frame, you will have a completed quilt top. It’s a nice way to make a quilt in small, bite-size pieces allowing the quilter the opportunity to learn a variety of patchwork techniques and patterns.This BOM will be a 10 month program meeting the first Monday of the month unless otherwise noted. The pattern will focus on The pattern will be America the Beautiful for McCall’sQuilting January 2011. Quilt piecing experience is encouraged. Instructions will be emailed ahead of time as to the amount of fabric needed and you will have class time eachmonth to work on the new blocks.While Quilting experience is preferred and highly encouraged, it is not required. Participants need to know how to operate and troubleshoot their own sewing machine. Valarie has years of experience with hand stitching, having formerly worked with cross stitch companies to produce samples that were photographed for their pattern covers. Students must register one week prior to class starting. PROJECT BAGS The “Project Bag” is a handy see-through bag perfect for organizing and carrying everything you need for projects.
