Whether you’re a first-time student or need a renewal, we offer both courses for healthcare professionals requiring CPR certification. All classes are taught byAmerican Heart Association–certified instructors. Register early—class size is limited to 9 students! Beginners $80 Renewal $65 ■ CPR Classes are held on Fridays ■ Registration is available IN-PERSON only in Room A-8 ■ You must present your active CPR card at registration & day of class. A passing score on the Health Careers TABE Test is required for the Nurse Assistant and Vocational Nurse program. Schedule: Offered weekly, alternating Wednesday mornings (9:00 am–12:00 pm) and Thursday evenings (4:00 pm–7:00 pm) in Room F1. Fee: $15.00 per test date (online registration only). Requirements: Bring a valid photo ID. No late arrivals, transfers, or refunds. Retakes: ■ Must wait 2 weeks before retesting. ■ $15.00 fee applies per retake (failed sections only). Students must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods. Upon completion, eligible students may take the state competency exam for certification. Requirements to be considered for the NA Program ■ Must be 18 years or older ■ Pass the TABE Placement Tests in Reading and Math ■ Have a current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card ■ Have a valid government issued photo I.D.
