Take your dog’s behavior to the next level with an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy or Canine Good Citizen class!

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program focuses on all the things every puppy and owner need to have a great start together.  S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner.

The Canine Good Citizen program is about responsible owners and well-mannered dogs.  The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior.  In CGC, dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test can earn a certificate and the official AKC CGC title.

These classes are offered by Ramona Winfrey, Evaluator #92088.  The tests will be held on the last day of classes, and a material fee of $20 is payable to the instructor.  The first class is without dogs and meets in the classroom.  Tuition includes one person and one dog.

The S.T.A.R. Puppy class for pups 4-6 months old starts Monday, 6/4 from 6:00-7:00pm at Gateway High School, 8 classes for $79.
