Cultivate your passions by taking classes at Clovis Community Education!. Our classes are designed so that you can learn something new in an uplifting environment and meet others with the same interests.
We are a self-funded program. We charge a fee for our classes and that is how we pay our instructors. Our instructors are people who have a passion for a subject and have the desire and ability to teach it to other adults.Often we find our teachers because someone has an idea that they want to share with the community.

We are a small staff with big dreams dedicated to serving our community.
I have worked in Clovis Unified for over 20 years. I am passionate about planning classes and implementing new ideas. My favorite part of my job is seeing the joy the teachers and students have because of our classes. I love to spend time with my family, and I love artsy crafts like painting, stitching and journaling. I have the best job in Clovis Unified and I have the best team! There is a lot of joy in our program and I am so thankful everyday for my staff, teachers and students!
In my 10+ years with Clovis Unified, I have worked in the Community Ed department the entire time because it’s the BEST! I enjoy seeing and serving our new and returning students and helping them find the best classes for them. It’s great seeing them strive to learn new things or continue in their passion, whether it be a hobby, continuing a fitness class, or learning how to play a new instrument. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, sewing, creating costumes, and attending cultural events and festivals. I love getting outside, and the mountains are my favorite escape. I love my job because of the fun mix of classes and people, putting the community in Community Ed!
I have worked for Clovis Unified School for 10 years. I am passionate about serving the community. I truly enjoy helping students hit milestones on their journey. When I’m away from my desk, I love to be with my four children. We enjoy traveling to the mountains and coast together. One of my hobbies for the past 4 years has been playing Co-ed Competition Softball in other cities. Recently, I visited the Grand Canyon West Skywalk, and it was the greatest decision this year. I absolutely love working for Clovis Unified, because I am here to make a positive difference in others’ lives. The Community Education department encourages adults and seniors to keep learning because the possibilities are endless. Thankful to our instructors who are a huge inspiration.
I have always wanted to work for Clovis Unified. Just recently, the opportunity opened up to fulfill that dream. I love working in the Community Ed Department and everyone here is amazing. My favorite part of my job is helping the students and getting to know the teachers. I am thankful to be a part of such an amazing team. My favorite thing to do with family is spending time with them having barbecues, swimming in the summer, having bonfires and roasting smores over the fire.
